People usually come to therapy looking for change: a new direction, or a different way to manage choices in life. Sometimes a person might look for guidance, sometimes for someone to
listen and understand. Often people are motivated to enter therapy becasue they want to be more comfortable with the way they are in the world, and sometimes they want to make sense out of the
confusion that leaves them feeling uncomfortable.
Therapy is a process, an interaction between therapist and client where, through talking, choices can be more clearly understood, action taken, and personal growth advanced.
